A number of conditions are being flagged as significant in the breed, some in the UK and some elsewhere.
These include:
Juvenile cataracts (Early onset)
Cushings disease
Gall bladder mucocoele
Glioma (brain tumour)
Calve-Legge-Perthe Disease (Perthes Disease)
Anyone with information of confirmed cases of these conditions in Border Terriers is requested to send their information please, to the Border Terrier Breed Health Co-ordinator Dr. Eddie Houston at earth.wise@btinternet.com
